New update 1.56 of CoD Warzone brings Snoop Dog and changes loadout drops – patch notes

Call of Duty: Warzone has uploaded the new update 1.56 to the servers. Included are changes to event rhythms in Battle Royale and the new operator Snoop Dog. MeinMMO has the complete patch notes.

The free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone is about to start its Season 3 / 2022 on April 27th. Before that, there was a new update with some changes.

When is the update coming? The patch is already online and you can download it at any time.

How big is the update? On the PS5, the update is around 3.8 GB in size. The size should look similar on the other platforms.

What’s in the update? The coveted new operator “Snoop Dog” went live with the update. You can get his cosmetic bundle for 2,400 CoD points. However, 2 of the 10 items are Vanguard exclusive:

Otherwise, the developers have screwed on the events in the normal Battle Royale. Here’s how the events from the previous game mode Vanguard Royale have been added and the times of the loadout drops have been adjusted:

• Loadout Drops
  • First drop comes even earlier
  • Second drop stays in 5th gas circle
• New in-match events
  • Replenish (replenishes loot caches)
  • Cash Drops
  • Heavy Weapons Drops
  • revival
• Guaranteed events at match start
  • Heavy Weapons Crate
  • loot boxes
• Guaranteed Events 4th Gas Circle

The developers want to further revise the event rotation and respond to player feedback. Increasing life points to 150 was only the first step.

In addition to the changes, a few bug fixes have also made it into the game:

• Fixed more broken spots on the Caldera map
• Fixed issues with the descriptions of the Replenishment and Patch Up perks
• Removed incorrect button indicators when playing with the controller
• Fixed issue with friend invites via social menu
• Removed glitch that allowed entering the “Golden Bunkers”.

Warzone is still fixing a few bugs before Season 3 really gets going again. There have already been first teasers and everything looks like Godzilla is going to haunt the island of Caldera.

If you’ve always wanted a Godzilla movie starring Snoop Dog, chances are you’ll never get as close as you did in Warzone Season 3.
