Nintendo Switch update 14.1.1 is live, banning adultery and death

The Nintendo Switch has received a new update.

After the Nintendo Switch made some changes to the platinum points with the last update almost two weeks ago, the new update is now smaller again. Patch 14.1.1 officially only gets one change, but there is probably something more hidden behind it.

Update 14.1.1: Patch Notes and Banned Words

According to the clear patch notes for update 14.1.1, the new patch is only intended to make “general improvements to system stability to improve the user experience”. What exactly that means is of course not specified, but a dataminer found out a little more.

According to the well-known Nintendo dataminer OatmealDome, the new firmware update has updated the list of forbidden words that may not be used in user names, for example. This should now also include “sendnudes”, i.e. requests for the sending of nude pictures for each language, and phrases in Japanese that contain characters for “death”.
