Elden Ring patch 1.04.1 is live, taking away her super power from Malenia

Last week, Patch 1.04 added two cool new features to Elden Ring, including an expanded quest line and a new camera feature. The balancing has also been tightened and the stability of the action RPG has been improved. Unfortunately, some errors have also crept into the update, which, among other things, made the boss fight against Malenia an even greater ordeal.

Hotfix 1.04.1 irons out these errors

FromSoftware just got via Twitter revealed that Hotfix 1.04.1 has been rolled out on all platforms, which we can confirm. The following bugs have been fixed:

• The ingredient Cerulean Hidden Tear for your medicine bottle has been fixed, the duration of action has been extended again.
• Fixed Malenia’s healing bug in multiplayer
• Fixed a bug where some bosses like the Elden Beast died too early.
• Some texts have been adjusted.

How big is the hotfix? We currently have the following data: Xbox Series X (664 MB), PS4 (103 MB)

Fixed a major problem with Malenia

Malenia is certainly not an easy task, but thanks to the patch 1.04 bug, dueling her has become almost impossible.

What was the problem? Normally Malenia heals as soon as she damages you. Due to the bug, however, she could also heal herself by simply hitting the air with her sword.
