Prime notice has surfaced on Amazon’s PS5 page

The note “Prime members have priority access to the PlayStation 5” is now a clear indication for PS5 hunters that the console will soon be available again from the online retailer. This same notice can currently be found on the digital version of the PS5 and the disc version bundled with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

Also disc version for sale? According to in-game several insiders point out that there could also be a drop of the disc version of the PS5 on Amazon on Wednesday. So it might be worth taking a look here.

Only with Prime: Many already know the game, the PS5 is actually only available from Amazon with a Prime subscription. If you don’t have such a subscription yourself, you could at least try your luck with a 30-day trial membership.

You should pay attention to this when buying a PS5

Beware of false offers: As always, of course, this time again: Pay attention to who the PS5 offer comes from. Third-party providers also sell the coveted console on Amazon, often at absurdly high prices. Among them are always fake shops that rip you off and don’t send any PS5 at all.

Also check out local retailers: If you haven’t had any luck with the Amazon drops so far, it can always be worth stopping by at local retailers. Media Markt and Saturn, for example, are getting the consoles delivered to the shops more and more often, which then at least cannot be picked up immediately by scalpers. So it can definitely be worth stopping by the local shop to see if you’re lucky.
