New update of CoD Warzone directly nerfs 2 of the best weapons in Season 3 – Patch Notes

On the evening of May 4th, a new update went live in Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing another batch of weapon balance adjustments to the game. So the two top weapons AK-47 (CW) and XM4 were nerfed – but there was also a lot of buffing. The patch notes are available on MeinMMO.

Season 3 has recently made a lot of adjustments to weapon balance in Call of Duty: Warzone. Almost a week later, the next big balance update came, which changed over 20 weapons again.

There are nerfs for the top weapons AK-47 (CW) and XM4, but otherwise there has been a lot of buffing and many assault rifles and submachine guns benefit from it. All information about the update can be found here.

How big is the update? It’s just a small update without a big download

What’s in the update? In addition to the weapon adjustments mentioned, the tank truck has been nerfed, which you have been able to organize in the match since the start of Season 3. The piece now has less health and the turret on top deals 40% less damage.

Also, as an Xbox player, you should now have no problem getting into the game with Xbox Live Silver.

With over 20 customized weapons, the latest update is one of the biggest balance patches in Warzone. The following weapons received a buff or nerf:

How is the meta changing? According to the first estimates, the STG44 assault rifle in particular has benefited from the update. The changes to the Owen Gun are also interesting – the weapon was already very strong and took more damage – but you should bypass the nerfed rapid-fire barrel.

The AK-47 (CW) lost the most feathers and falls behind a bit. In contrast to the XM4, which has been nerfed a bit as a sniper support, but still plays at the top – whether at range or in close combat.
