Pokémon GO Fest in Berlin: content and ticket prices finally known – what’s in it?

In July, the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 runs for a weekend in Berlin. It is finally known at which location it is running, what the various tickets cost and what the event will bring to you.

What is this event? The GO Fest 2022 will be divided into different events. In June there will be a worldwide event in which every player can participate. Later, starting in July, there will be three more events that will be held in Berlin, Seattle (USA) and Sapporo (Japan). Later, in August, there will be a big final event.

Now we finally know where the event will take place in Berlin, what bonuses it brings and what content can be unlocked by buying tickets.

GO Fest Berlin 2022 – date, ticket, prices, content, location

When does it start? GO Fest 2022 runs from Friday July 1st to Sunday July 3rd in Berlin.

Where does it take place? Pokémon GO uses the Britzer Garten in Berlin as the location for the GO Fest 2022. More information about the location Britzergarten.de.

How expensive are the tickets? The ticket for general access will cost you €24.99. Niantic also sells “early access tickets” for the event, for which you should pay €32.13. All tickets are limited and only available while stocks last. So don’t wait too long if you want to buy.

What content do tickets bring? In the May 5 announcement, Niantic explains what benefits you get by purchasing a ticket.

• Special research in the Britzer Garden that rewards you with Shaymin’s zenith form
• Special field research for the event
• New Shinys from Grillmak and Tarnpignon become available
• Exclusive, special-edition Pokémon GO Fest 2022 T-shirt (exclusive to this and other GO Fest 2022 live events)
• Autograph sessions with content creators
• Four different habitats, two of them exclusive to Berlin – – plus exclusive collector challenges and selected Pokémon spawns
  • electric garden: Hisui Voltobal, Wadribie, Tarnpignon, Eguana, and more Pokémon
  • Windy Coast: Perlu, Perlu, Sodamak, Fleknoil and other Pokémon
  • living meadow: Galarian Ponyta, Scyther, Yanma, Vegimak, and other Pokémon
  • Molten Rock: Koknodon, Grillmak, Pebbleling, Flampion and other Pokémon
• Up to 6 special trades and less stardust costs during the event period – There is also a trade station at the location
• A battle arena where you can compete against other trainers
• Surprising encounters in snapshots
• Special raids for the trainers in Berlin during the event – including Cresselia and Darkrai in tier 5 raids

Buy tickets for GO Fest 2022 in Berlin – costs

When can you buy the tickets? They have been available since May 5th, you can buy them now.

What tickets are there?

• General Access Ticket (costs 24.99 including tax). Allows you to enter the event from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time on the selected event day.
• Early Access ticket (costs €32.13 including taxes). Allows early entry to the event from 09:00 to 18:00 local time.

Where can you buy the tickets? On Niantic’s website for the event (via tickets.nianticlabs.com) you can buy the tickets.

What do you have to pay attention to? Although the event runs for three days, you can only buy a ticket for one of the event days. The purchased ticket is then only valid for the day and only for the event in the Britzer Garten. Event tickets are non-refundable.

You can upgrade your tickets

What is that? If you want, you can buy add-ons for your ticket to upgrade them. The add-ons are only available if you purchase them together with a ticket. You cannot buy them later.

The bonuses of the add-ons are active during the event period from July 1st to July 3rd and only apply to the event at the corresponding location.

• Add-on for Raid Enthusiasts: Costs €10.06 and brings you up to 12 additional Raid Passes from Gyms per day, 5,000 additional Stardust after a successful Raid, 6 additional Candies and 3 additional XL Candies for catching Pokémon from level 5 raids.
• Add-on for Breeders: Costs €10.06 and gives an egg bonus, which makes your eggs hatch four times faster (cannot be combined with similar bonuses). You’ll also get double XP, double Candy, and double Stardust for hatching eggs.
