Escape from Tarkov: Player discovers phone number on gun – call them and someone will actually pick up
The hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov is considered one of the most realistic games of the genre. Now, in a clip on Reddit, a Tarkov player shared his latest discovery: he found a phone number on his gun, called it, then hung up in a panic when someone actually answered the call.
What can you see in the video? At the time the video was recorded, the Reddit user u/JudgeDreddMain was in a raid in the shooter Escape from Tarkov. There he takes a closer look at his equipped rifle. He discovers a phone number and realizes that it looks very realistic.
The player does not hesitate and decides to call the gun’s phone number in real life. It turns out that the phone number not only looks real – it is.
After a few seconds of ringing, a woman’s voice answers the phone and asks what she can do for the caller. The player realized that this is the actual customer service phone number of the American arms manufacturer Knight’s Armament Company.
The video ends with the stunned reaction of the player ending the call in a panic. At the same time, his teammate, who could overhear the call over the loudspeaker, tells him: “Hang up”. The calling player replied with a laugh and said, “I do.”
