Pokémon GO: “A Poni Adventure” – All Special Research tasks and rewards

The new Alola Season Special Research, A Poni’s Adventure, is now available in Pokémon GO. We at MeinMMO show you which tasks and rewards await you so that you can solve the research quickly.

What research is it about? The Alola season is currently running in Pokémon GO, in which you can work on a total of four different special researches. If you have solved all of them in time, you will also receive a bonus special research at the end of the season. There is the following research:

1. Mele-Mele Island Special Research (available since March 1st)
2. Akala Island Special Research (available since March 22nd)
3. Ula-Ula Island Special Research (Available since April 12)
4. Poni Island Special Research (available since May 10)
5. End of Season Special Research (Available from May 25th to June 1st)

With the upcoming start of the Water Festival on May 12th, the special research to go with it is now also available under the name “A Poni Adventure”. Professor Willow goes in search of the patron saint of the island of Poni: Kapu-Kime.

In the following overview we show you all the contents of the research:

A Poni Adventure 1/4

task	Reward
Catch 10 Pokemon	10 Pokeballs
Use 5 power ups at Pokemon	5 raspberries
Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunt	3 super potions

Tier Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will receive an additional 500 XP, 500 Stardust and an encounter with Alolan Rattikarl.

A Poni Adventure 2/4

task	Reward
Catch 3 Pokemon from type water	meeting with Tentoxa
Take a snapshot from a water-type Pokémon	meeting with wailmer
Use 5 berries at the Catching Pokemon	meeting with Wingull

Tier Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will receive an additional 500 XP, 500 Stardust and an instant TM.

A Poni Adventure 3/4

task	Reward
Run 2 km	meeting with Miltank
Catch 15 Pokemon	10 Super Balls
Spin 5 PokéStops or arenas	meeting with Velursi

Tier Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will receive an additional 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust and a Premium Battle Pass.

A Poni Adventure 4/4

task	Reward
Send 5 gifts to friends	10 Super Balls
Catch 15 Pokemon	7 pineapple berries
Win a raid	meeting with Alola Kokowei

Tier Reward: If you have completed and redeemed all three tasks, you will receive an additional 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust and 15 Hyper Balls.

If you successfully complete this special research and have also solved the previous research on the Alola Islands, you will unlock an additional special research at the end of the season starting on May 25th.

Alternatively, you can also secure them in the in-game shop with the help of a special ticket for around €5. So you don’t have to have completed all the tasks in advance.
