Oops! Pokémon GO takes one research away from players, now distributes new ones to everyone

In Pokémon GO, Air Adventure research was accidentally reset for some players. As an excuse, there is now a research for you to solve easily.

Which research has been reset? In the last few days, the Air Adventure event has been running in Pokémon GO. In a Limited Research, you should catch Pokémon and were rewarded with Mega Energy for Latias and Latios. There was also 3,000 XP and an encounter with a flying Pikachu. Due to an error, the progress of some trainers was reset.

The new research “Electric swarm in the sky” is now active for you. We’ll show you what’s in it and what Niantic says about it.

This is in the research: The tasks of the new research are clear and quickly solved.

• Catch a Pokemon
  • Reward: 50 Mega Energy for Latias
• Take a snapshot of a Pokémon outdoors
  • Reward: 50 Mega Energy for Latios

Tier Reward: Completing both tasks and claiming your rewards will earn you an additional 3,000 XP and a flying Pikachu encounter. Once you have collected all of this, the limited research is over.

The old research had the following tasks that were accidentally reset:

• Catch 10 Pokemon (brought 50 Latias Energy)
• Catch 30 Flying Pokémon (brought 50 Latios Energy)
• Plus 3,000 XP and an encounter with a flying Pikachu

This is what Niantic says about it: on Twitter Niantic’s support account writes on May 13 at 08:48:

“We apologize to the Trainers whose Air Adventure Event Timed Research was reset before the end of the event. A Timed Research with the same rewards is now available to all Trainers until May 18 at 20:00 local time. Thanks for your understanding.”

In the comments on Twitter, players thank them for the clarification and the reparation.
