The blue tick on TikTok shows you the authenticity and seriousness of a profile. Many celebrities and companies have it – but you can get it too. We’ll explain how it works.

Requirements for a verified account

1. In the menu, go to “Profile > the burger menu at the top right > Settings and privacy > Report a problem”.
2. Android: Select the notepad in the upper-right corner of Feedback and Help. A text bar will appear at the bottom with “Send us your feedback”.

3. Send the TikTok team a message using the feedback function. Explain why you of all people deserve the blue tick. Tip: If you already have a blue tick on Facebook or Instagram, mention that too.
4. Tap Report.
5. Be patient: Support will review your case.

It may be that you don’t get a blue tick on the first try. Then try the verification again later.
