Fight and Snap: Deathloop gets new photo mode and more

Although Deathloop has an exceptional style that developer Arkane Studios has invested a lot of time in developing, it doesn’t have a photo mode until six months later.

Shoot – but in a different way

The third update of the loop shooter brings the creative feature to the pretty game while also adding some accessibility options.

You can see Photo Mode in action in the trailer for the update:

If you activate the feature via the menu, the game is paused and you can move the camera freely, apply filters and change color and lighting. Colt and Julianna can also be put in a few photo poses.

More news about Deathloop:

Other features added in the patch include more choice in combat difficulty, choice of HUD appearance and subtitles, and simplified menu navigation. You can also lower your game speed and only play at 75 or 50 percent speed.

“We took the time to read all of the accessibility reviews and watched the videos of players explaining why they can’t play Deathloop”, so Yoann Bazoge, Lead UI/UX Designer.

“We then worked on a document listing all of the feedback and created a roadmap showing what the additions for Game Update 3 will be.”

All information about the patch can be found on the official site to Deathloop.
