Cooling water or drops in the ocean? XMG OASIS notebook water cooling

from Jan Hauck
A notebook combined with water cooling, does that work? Notebooks are usually plagued by high temperatures and whirring fans. Perhaps the idea of cooling a notebook with water doesn’t seem so far-fetched.

With the Oasis, XMG is launching a compact water cooling system that can be connected directly to the in-house Neo 15 notebook. The small box is connected to the notebook using a quick coupling. The device gets its power from the power pack and the water cooling is controlled via Bluetooth via the internal control software of the computer. The water tank can be filled with a small plug, and the cool water is then pumped through a tube inside the notebook with the help of the pump. The CPU and GPU should therefore be cooled better than by pure air cooling. In our video we will show you whether the concept works and whether we can achieve better temperatures, higher performance and lower noise levels compared to air cooling.
