[PLUS] Building proposal: Gaming PC for just under 1,000 euros

[PLUS] Build Suggestion: Lower Middle Class (2)

Lower middle class

Don’t let the categorical classification in the lower middle field irritate you. For around 1,000 euros, you can also work well with new parts without having to accept serious compromises. Thanks to slowly falling graphics card prices and attractively priced processors such as the Core i5-12400F from Intel or the AMD Ryzen 5 5600, usury-like offers can safely be ignored.

Taste and scenario meet budget

The equivalent value to be paid for a new purchase can easily be increased, but a supposed upgrade is not always worthwhile. If you want to save aside from the main components CPU and GPU by reducing your own requirements, the best thing to do is to start with the case, the mainboard and the capacity of the SSD. In general, you have to cut back on ray tracing and ultra settings. As long as caution is exercised here, blockbusters such as Cyberpunk 2077 or Red Dead Redemption 2 can also be played well on weaker GPUs thanks to continuously improved upscaling processes such as Nvidia’s DLSS/AMD’s FSR, even with 144 Hz monitors with a higher resolution than Full HD. With optional tuning, not only can more efficiency be tickled out of the frugal components via undervolting, but more performance can be tickled out of the frugal computer through overclocking.
