Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077 was quite a disaster when it came to technology – especially on PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version with the appropriate hardware shows the potential that can unfold. But there would theoretically be a lot more if developer studio CD Projekt RED had already relied on Unreal Engine 5 back then. Because that was not yet possible, the in-house RED engine had to show what it can do. This impressive video shows what a Cyberpunk 2077 based on the new Unreal Engine 5 could look like.

That’s what it’s about: Cyberpunk 2077 already looks extremely impressive on the PC with ray tracing and DLSS, but as is well known, the sky is the limit.

Accordingly, here is a fan video around the corner that shows how much more a future Cyberpunk 2077 could get out of the new graphics framework of Unreal Engine 5. We firmly believe that it would be quite a lot. But the best thing to do is watch the video for yourself first:

Impressive faces and gameplay. Especially the facial animations and details look really outstanding and realistic in this video here. The MetaHumans system of Unreal Engine 5 is responsible for these results.

According to YouTuber Enfant Terrible, some environment packs offered by Epic are also used. But Night City with reflections, weather effects, the cars and all the rest is unparalleled.

More recent news about Cyberpunk 2077:

Is this what The Witcher 4 looks like? As we know, CD Projekt RED is already working on the next installment in The Witcher series. It should actually be based on Unreal Engine 5 and no longer be developed with the help of the RED engine.

This means that at least the faces in the next The Witcher game could look like what you see here. The rest will be difficult to compare due to the different settings and hardware resource management, especially on consoles, but we’re curious.

How do you like the video? What are your highlights, what do you not find so successful?
