The Callisto Protocol: Monster Close-Up and New Info

The Callisto Protocol (Action-Adventure) von Krafton / Skybound Games

Lead developer Glen Schofield, creator of Dead Space, has announced new information about his upcoming horror game The Callisto Protocol this week. Glen Schofield is returning to what he does best: scaring the players.

With the development team of the Striking Distance studio he founded, he is busy working on the spiritual successor to Dead Space. The franchise that was discontinued by EA, only to be resurrected as a remake. No wonder a pissed off Schofield has long since set up his own studio.

In this way, Schofield can finally really pump up horror technology again – and promises one of the scariest games of all time with The Callisto Protocol. Gameplay has not yet been seen, but a first CGI trailer made a pretty good impression some time ago.

If you don’t already follow @CallistoTheGame now might be a good time to start. Look for some news next week. Until then, here’s a closeup of one of the creatures from our world class character team. They’re incredible. Happy Friday the 13th! Get ready! pic.twitter.com/u9xDxJ4CbC

More information can now be expected. On the corresponding Twitter account Schofield shows a first, somewhat crude close-up of one of the monsters that await the player on the apparently abandoned space station – apart from a sickening ball of slime, not much can be seen yet. Not least for this reason, according to the game director, new information about the virtual nightmare can be expected this week. Let’s hope that a gameplay trailer for The Callisto Protocol awaits us.
