Pokémon Legends: Arceus lets you interact with your Pokémon in a much nicer and more intimate way than you might think.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has a small but powerful feature that can easily be overlooked. It’s not widely touted anywhere, but adds a really sweet possibility to the whole thing. You can “speak” or at least interact with your Pokémon using various emotes. Depending on what gestures you use, the Pokémon react differently to them.

Did you know that you can communicate with your Pokémon through emotes?

Lots of Pokémon trainers on Reddit are looking forward to a particularly cool, but also quite well hidden way of interacting with your Pokémon. Not only can you maniacally run around them, you can even “talk” to them. Most fans should still be familiar with this, after all there is a button prompt that is displayed when you are close enough.

But that was not all: After that, you can also do emotes with X, Y and A when you are already in conversation. This isn’t advertised or advertised anywhere, but it will certainly evoke certain reactions from your Pokémon. Sometimes they respond to your gestures with their own emotes. That just seems sweet and may have escaped many trainers.
