FIFA 22 extends Weekend League after server problems – take your chance now
The current Weekend League in FIFA 22 will be extended. This gives you one more day to secure strong tickets from the Bundesliga TOTS.
Until when does the Weekend League run? Actually, the current Weekend League in FIFA 22 should run until Wednesday morning, May 18th. Since the TOTS event, the timings for the “FUT Champions Finals” – i.e. the Weekend League – have already been adjusted and lengthened anyway.
However, there were server problems on Tuesday evening that prevented players from entering the game. As a result, some could not get everything out of the Weekend League.
That’s why FIFA 22 is extending the current Weekend League by 24 hours. It now runs until Thursday, May 19th at 09:00. This was announced by the FIFA Direct Communication channel via Twitter.
This makes the current Weekend League almost the opposite of the week before – the FUT Champions Finals ended unintentionally too early.
The Weekend League Rewards are worth it thanks to TOTS
Take your chance: If you’ve already played in the Weekend League and have already scored a few points but haven’t quite finished yet – then you should consider playing a few more games now.
The rewards include the Bundesliga team-of-the-season cards. There are some insanely strong cards that can improve any team directly. If you advance far enough in the FUT Champions Finals, you have a chance of getting these cards in your Player Picks.
With the extra time you have gained a lot of time to collect the necessary points for further ranks. In addition, many strong players will have completed their weekend league matches long ago.
So you might have a good chance to level up again and get better rewards.
