Pokémon GO is now giving out free items with Prime Gaming – Here’s how to get them

Pokémon GO has partnered with Amazon Prime Gaming. From now on you can regularly get items there if you have a membership.

That is new: As the Pokémon GO team announced, trainers can now get items and loot through Amazon Prime Gaming. Small bundles will be released again and again over the coming months.

What’s in the bundle? You can already secure the first bundle. The first “Prime Gaming Package” includes:

• 30 Poke Balls
• 5 top revitalizers
• 1 star piece

More federal governments are likely to be added in the coming months. Three bundles have been announced for June alone.

What do I need for this? If you want the bundles, you need both a Prime Gaming account and a Pokémon GO account.

If you have an Amazon Prime membership anyway, the bundles are a nice bonus to get you some items in Pokémon GO. There are no additional costs for the bundle besides the normal membership.

However, it is not worth signing up for a membership just for the items.

This is how you can redeem the item bundle

First you have to log in with your Amazon account and pick up the package (via gaming.amazon). After that you will receive a code.

As an Android user, you have it easy because you can enter the code directly in the game:

• Opens Pokemon GO
• Tap on the Poké Ball in the middle and open the shop
• Scroll down there
• Type in the white field and paste the copied code there
• Now tap Redeem

How to Redeem Promo Codes on iOS/Apple? With iOS devices, you must have one website call to redeem the promo codes. You cannot do this directly in the shop. The website is designed so that you can register and redeem codes. When registering, remember that you choose the account that your Pokémon GO is linked to.
