WoW: TBC Classic server is bursting at the seams – Blizzard is asking for transfers

It doesn't always have to be sexy - awesome midget cosplay (1)

The WoW: Burning Crusade Classic Firemaw server is getting busier and busier every month. This in turn means that fewer and fewer players can play. Blizzard is therefore asking players from the affected realms to take advantage of the free character transfer and play on one of the various other EU servers.

It was already foreseeable over the last few months: In WoW: Burning Crusade Classic there is a constant migration, from badly and medium populated servers to heavily populated servers. Here the Player counts for TBC Classic as of April 2022. The numbers from the EU server Firemaw are particularly blatant. There have been over 30,000 active characters in the PvE endgame for months (in the last ID there were 31,280 characters). This is of course far too much.

Full servers and queues

in the official WoW forum Community Manager Kaivax has summarized the situation on Firemaw once again: All servers have an upper limit on the number of players that can be online at the same time. If a server is full, all other players end up in a queue. But even that only includes a maximum number of players. If this upper limit is also reached, further players will be completely denied access.

That something like this happens usually only occurs over a short period of time. There is something that Blizzard calls “queue pressure”. Wow (buy now ) It’s just not much fun when you’re in a queue like that. Or to put it another way: Better to play on a less populated server than not at all. However, over the last few weeks it has been observed that “a non-negligible number of “Burning Crusade Classic” players constantly tempted to play on this one realm.
