Buy a 9 euro ticket: This is how you get the train ticket digitally

The 9 euro ticket is valid throughout Germany on all means of local and regional transport.

Due to the sharp rise in energy prices in the last month, the federal government has taken several measures as part of one relief package for citizens put on the way.

For just 9 euros you can get one from now on monthly ticket for public transport, which is valid throughout Germany for all local and regional public transport. This includes, for example, buses, trams, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and RB and RE trains of Deutsche Bahn.

To buy the 9 euro ticket, you must have a Online account with Deutsche Bahn available and in the DB Navigator app log in. If you do not yet have such an account, simply register for free on the Deutsche Bahn online portal. This also works directly on the smartphone.
