German Twitch streamer gives no damn about immoral deal over 5 million euros – "The absolute devil"

The great German twitch streamer Simon “unspiel” Wiefels, or Unge for short, spoke about advertising for casino websites in a past live broadcast. He also went into a deal that he received himself – it is said to have been almost 5 million euros.

What did Unge say about casino deals? The former YouTube streamer revealed that casino sites send offers of cooperation “to really anyone who has any reach and viewers whatsoever.”

It was the same with Unge, who, according to his own statements, even received an offer of almost 5 million euros. But he refused and wrote it down Twitterthat he will never do casino streams. He “thinks that’s absolute filth.”

Unge also compared gambling addiction to other addictions and doesn’t think it’s right to promote something like this:

But when you promote drugs and addictions like that, for your viewers and for your fans, I just think it’s very dangerous. Because for me it’s all on the same track: drug addiction or gambling addiction or whatever, it’s all the absolute devil.

Unge on casino deals from Twitch colleagues: “Humanly disappointed”

What did Unge have to say about other streamers’ casino deals? unspiel continued to say that the big German twitch streamer MontanaBlack, who gave the dragon lord valuable financial tips, had probably already received an offer of 12 million euros.

MontanaBlack is known for its casino affinity and therefore had a heated argument with Tanzban:

Dispute between Twitch streamers Tanzban and MontanaBlack escalates – because of the casino

In addition, the larger Twitch streamers orangemorange and Scurrows have started casino streams as well. Wiefels estimates that both probably got half a million or 1 million euros for it.

  • orangemorange has 509,000 followers
  • Scurrows has 169,900 followers

So they both have some reach on the platform and, according to Unge, they owe that solely to their viewers. He also says:

When the guys promote something like that, they have to be clear about it: They exchange the money for their viewers. And against the viewers who just brought them to where they are now – that is, who made them big.

The viewers are what make YouTubers and streamers what they are – he thinks that is “very sad”. He also says: “Personally, I’m disappointed with all the streamers who make deals like this.”

According to Unge, where is the problem? The streamers use it to reach young people who are not allowed to reach it. Children, teenagers or young adults in particular are more easily influenced and may strive after their idols, said Wiefels. In addition, the viewers see that the streamers are winning and then want to try it out.

At the end he appealed again that one should keep one’s hands off casinos and not click on any influencer links. If you didn’t support that, there would be no more casino deals.

Casino deals are not only viewed critically in Germany

How is it abroad? There, too, there are always quarrels, discussions and criticism between the streamers and the viewers. The biggest streamer from Twitch, xQc, is known for its gambling addiction and regularly gambles on slot machines or in-game.

He says that he doesn’t want to be a role model at all and just wants to stream what he feels like doing. However, his viewers complained that he was wasting their money pointlessly. Most recently, xQc triggered a huge debate again with a sponsorship of a casino website.

Like Unge, Mizkif also turned down a casino deal. The deal is said to have been about the equivalent of 9.3 million euros. His viewers couldn’t understand that at all and would have accepted the deal.

Trainwreck is probably the most well-known casino streamer on Twitch. To this day he gambles almost every day, losing over 7 million euros and roaring at his viewers. However, he also regularly warns against gambling and that one should absolutely not imitate him.
