This is what Starfield could look like in Unreal Engine 5!

Starfield will probably not appear until 2023, but a creative YouTube video already shows what the game with Unreal Engine 5 could look like – in a perfectly formed fan trailer.

The Enfant Terrible channel is known on YouTube for reimagining various games in the Unreal engine. Well, in the case of Starfield, it’s less of a re-imagination and more of a whole new vision, since Bethesda’s RPG hasn’t come out yet, after all.

In any case, the YouTube channel shows in a video how the sci-fi role-playing game Starfield based on Unreal Engine 5 could work. Enfant Terrible says, “We’re so excited for Starfield that we had to envision the upcoming game in Unreal.”

The trailer only shows about 2 1/2 minutes of material, but it already stages the space scenery in a very atmospheric way, cut together “from various Unreal Engine 5 roles and projects”, as the video says. Picturesque, wide sci-fi landscapes that can hardly be distinguished from real photo material and theatrical background music can be admired in the video.

More news about Starfield:

The original Starfield, which was recently postponed to 2023, will ultimately not be created in the Unreal Engine, but in Bethesda’s in-house Creation Engine 2. But if the world of the upcoming RPG could look something like the Enfant Terrible video, then it could be a really atmospheric open world to explore.
