Lost Ark is up for the weekly update today, May 26th. After the big May update last week, this time it’s just minor bug fixes. We at MeinMMO summarize everything.

What’s coming with the update? Since the huge May update with a new class, new raid and numerous quality-of-life improvements came to the servers last week, today’s update is just a series of smaller bug fixes. One of the most annoying bugs at the moment, but the update doesn’t fix it. The update also does not solve a problem with the integrated presets, which noticeably bothers the fans under the update news on Twitter (via Twitter).

We are talking about a bug that can mean that you can no longer use your mouse pointer as usual. Especially in raids it’s really a problem if your clicks suddenly just don’t work anymore. The players have now found a workaround themselves, but are still waiting for a fix.

Another HTML chat bug had also crept into play. A few weeks ago, such an error caused a few lines of code in the game’s chat to crash. However, the developers have fixed this HTML error with today’s update.

How long is the server status offline? The update starts as usual at 9:00 a.m. our time. At this point the game servers will go offline and will remain so for an estimated 5 hours this week. If everything goes according to plan, you can start looting again from 2 p.m.

You don’t have to expect a major download in Steam this week, as these are only minor improvements.

  • Fixed the issue that caused players to get the wrong amount of “Coins of Courage” after completing a PvP match.
    • Our team is also in the process of checking who received the incorrect number of “Coins of Courage” after the monthly update. The difference between what has been earned and what should be earned is made up. This process has to be done manually and will therefore take a few days. We thank you for your patience while we take care of this!
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to send HTML in chat resulting in excessive whitespace.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the “Book of Coordination” to not save when the Shadowhunter combat ability presets were open.
