Pokémon GO: Season of GO – All events, bonuses and spawns of the new season

In Pokémon GO, the new season starts on June 1st, 2022, which will be called “Season of GO”. We at MeinMMO have looked at what content, spawns and bonuses you can expect in the coming weeks.

What time of year is it? In Pokémon GO, the seasons change every 3 months. These always revolve around a specific topic and pick it up again and again in the selected spawns and events.

On June 1st, the Alola season comes to an end and the Season of GO begins. As Pokémon GO has now announced on their website, you can look forward to numerous events and bonuses in addition to numerous Pokémon.

The main focus will be on going outside again, exploring the environment and interacting with friends. This is particularly evident in the bonuses that are planned for the season. We have summarized what these are for you below.

When is the new season? The Season of GO begins on June 1st, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time and runs until September 1st, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

All bonuses and special features for the Season of GO

Of course you can look forward to one or the other bonus in the upcoming Season of GO. In the new season, interaction with other coaches will play a particularly important role.

• Lure modules last 1 hour
• When you spin PokéStops, you get a guaranteed gift
• You will receive one additional special exchange per day
• When trading, you will receive an additional candy
• A guaranteed XL candy when swapping
• Raids with friends bring you increased bonus damage

You can also expect a change in the XL candies and the GO Battle League starts a new round with Season 11. This brings you new cups, such as the Fossil Cup, Summer Cup, and Fang Cup.

Changes to XL Candy

In the past, trainers from level 40 could secure the special XL candies. You need this if you want to power up Pokémon to level 50. With the start of the Season of GO, access to the XL candies will be reduced.

For this reason, from June 1st, 2022, you can already earn the precious candies from level 31. With a bit of luck, you can get them by catching Pokémon, by sending them, or by swapping monsters.
