from Norman Wittkopf
Memory manufacturer Kingston is expanding its previous Fury Beast model series, which cracked DDR5-10000 for the first time, to include illuminated RGB versions.

With DDR5 RAM from Kingston’s Fury Beast series, the first overclocking record with the current memory standard beyond 10,000 MT/s to DDR5-10004 was achieved in April of this year, which was replaced a short time later by Gigabyte’s Aorus RAM with DDR5-10022 been discontinued, but was nonetheless a notable and groundbreaking success.

Now, Kingston is refitting its hitherto available modules without lighting effects, also with RGB lighting and a new heatspreader design, which according to the announcement should ensure bright and even lighting. As usual, various effects and co. are offered, which can be set and synchronized via software or mainboard.

Key data and prices

The new memory sticks with data transfer rates from 4,800 to 6,000 MT/s can be overclocked automatically and without the need to additionally select a profile, with the modules with 5,200 MT/s and more using Intel XMP 3.0 profiles to optimize speed, timings and set tension. Nothing has changed in terms of storage sizes, transfer rates and latencies compared to the previous models. Kingston, meanwhile, promises a lifetime warranty.
