We are now looking for reinforcements for our team. You can now apply for a job at MeinMMO to write daily news independently in your home office. The focus is on gaming and gaming culture.

MeinMMO was founded in September 2013. Since March 2016 we are part of Webedia Gaming. We maintain an independent editorial team, with most of them working from their home office. Both GameStar and MeinMMO and GamePro are part of the Webedia Gaming GmbH.

According to agof, MeinMMO now reaches over 3 million unique users every month. This means that within just a few years we have established ourselves as one of the largest German gaming websites.

What exactly are we looking for?

Do you follow the events in gaming with high tension? Which games will be released soon? What’s going on with the big publishers? Which games are trending on Twitch or Steam? What are gaming fans talking about on reddit, Twitter, Discord and Co.?

What you should bring with you:

  • great passion for gaming and gaming culture
  • it’s an advantage if you already have some experience, such as running your own blog or writing for websites. But that is not a must
  • a flair for stories that fit MeinMMO
  • A willingness to work evening and/or weekend news shifts
  • a high affinity to platforms on which gaming fans move (reddit, Twitter, Discord, TikTok, …)
  • you are proficient in thorough research and able to check sources
  • high level of reliability and the urge to develop yourself further
