Elden Ring: Co-op Mod Now Available in Open Beta

From Software’s games are known for some classic features. Challenging boss fights, rather convoluted lore, pretty fun gameplay, and of course a co-op mode that makes it extremely difficult for players to actually play together.
This is also the situation with the recently released Elden Ring. While players can easily summon their fellow combatants, they will disappear as soon as the boss of the area has been defeated. Also, it is not possible to enter a cave together when summoned in the open world. Instead, players must abandon their co-op session and regroup in the cave.

Play the Elden Ring in co-op without restrictions

Whether you personally like this system or not, there are some players who just want to explore the world of Elden Ring with their friends. There is good news for precisely this type of user: The “Seamless Coop” project, which we reported on in April of this year, is finally in an open beta.

The mod includes a few features like a “spectator mode” should you die early in a boss fight, a voting system for fast travel together, use of horses, and a debuff called “Rot Essence”. This should ensure that deaths do not lose too much relevance despite the implemented features. The mod probably comes with its own launcher, which is not related to Easy Anti Cheat and the online services of Elden Ring (buy now /€50.99 ) is bound. So this shouldn’t cause any complications if you want to play the game the normal way.
