San Francisco – In Pokémon GO, there is a new season every three months, which sets the theme for the next few months in the game. The Alola season is currently running in the game, which has introduced some new Pokémon and Shinys from Pokémon Sun and Moon, i.e. the Alola region, to Pokémon GO. Now the Alola season is coming to an end and developer Niantic from San Francisco has once again planned a big event at the end. It’s in the Alola to Alola event.

Pokémon GO: Alola to Alola – The most important information about the event at a glance

Then the event runs: In Pokémon GO, the last event in May is coming up soon. The Pokémon GO Community Day in May 2022 with Alola Kleinstein has just ended, and the next event is already looming. At the end of the Alola season, the developer from San Francisco is driving up again. The Alola to Alola event starts in Pokémon GO on May 25 at 10 a.m. and runs until May 31 at 8 p.m.

  • Begin: Wednesday, May 25, 10 a.m
  • End: Tuesday, May 31, 8 p.m

So trainers have less than a week to complete all field research again, fight the raid bosses and catch the Pokémon of the season.

There are these bonuses: Of course, there are also some bonuses for players for the “Alola to Alola” event in Pokémon GO. All bonuses at a glance:

  • Double Stardust when opening presents
  • New Avatar items in the in-game shop:
    Bauz backpack
    Flamiau backpack
    Robball backpack
  • Evolution of Tragosso to Alolan Knogga
Alolan Knogga will learn the Charged Attack Shadow Bone during the event

As an exception, during the Pokémon GO event, Trainers can evolve their Tragosso into an Alolan Knogga. Otherwise this is actually not possible. If you evolve Tragosso into Alolan Knogga, it learns the Charged Attack Shadow Bone. It deals 75 damage in Trainer Battles and 80 damage in Raid and Arena Battles.

The Alola to Alola Special Research: In Pokémon Go there will also be the special research “Alola to Alola” for the event. Trainers can either buy these for €4.99 in the in-game shop or dust them off for free. We reveal how to get the special research for free and what it includes in our guide, which we linked at the beginning of the paragraph. Here you can also find the solution to the special research in Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO: Alola to Alola – these Pokémon appear at the event

These Pokémon appear in the wild: For the “Alola to Alola” event in Pokémon GO, the Pokémon from the beginning of the season appear in the wild again. This gives players another chance to catch them before they appear less often. These Pokémon can be caught in the wild:

  • Alola Rattface*
  • Tragosso*
  • Bauz
  • flamiau
  • Robball
  • Peppeck
  • Mangunior*
  • Alola Meowth*
  • Alola Kokowei

These Pokemon hatch from Eggs: 7km Eggs will also hatch new monsters in Pokémon GO for the event:

  • Alola Rattface*
  • aqua
  • imantis
  • commander
  • Alola Meowth*
  • Alolan Slime*
  • Alola Sandan*
  • Alola Vulpix*
  • Alola Digda*
  • Velursi*

Those who hatch diligently will have a very high chance of obtaining Alolan Rattata, Araqua, Imantis, and Commander. Alolan Meowth and Slime are slightly less likely to drop from eggs. The hardest part is the last four Pokemon, which are very rarely found in 7 km eggs.

The raid bosses for the event: There are also new raid bosses for the “Alola to Alola” event. Trainers should not miss these, because all legendary Pokémon from the sun and moon appear again in level 5 raids:

raid level Pokemon
step 1 Alolan Rattface*, Alolan Small Stone*, Alolan Digda*, Alolan Slime*, Rocker*
level 3 Alolan Raichu*, Alolan Kokowei*, Alolan Knogga*
stage 5 Tapu Riki, Tapu Fala, Tapu Toro, Tapu Kime

Need help with Legendary Pokemon? No problem! We tell you the 20 best attackers for each monster:

This makes the legendary monsters of the level 5 raids a breeze. You should still have multiple trainers in tow during battles. You cannot defeat the four Pokémon alone.
