San Francisco – With the end of the Alola season, new content is approaching in Pokémon GO. The so-called Season of GO (GO season in German) starts in June. The trainers are then presented with new events, bonuses and spawns. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about the Season of GO changes in Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO: Season of GO – all dates and new GO Fest
When does it start? The Alola season is coming to an end. The special research “Alola to Alola” is currently still running in Pokémon GO. The Season of GO in Pokémon GO is about to start. As always, the new season will be packed with plenty of content so that the trainers don’t get bored. The GO season kicks off on June 1 at 10 a.m. German time. The Season of GO will then run until September 1st at 10 a.m. Here you will find an overview of all important dates of the GO season in Pokémon GO.

It is not yet known which Pokémon the Community Days in Pokémon GO are about. The events for July and August are still a secret from the developer from San Francisco. Pokémon GO: Season of GO – All bonuses and limited research
What bonuses are there? New season, new bonuses – the Season of GO provides trainers with a number of advantages again. This makes game progress a lot easier. There will also be a change to XL Candy in the Season of GO. They will be available from level 31 in the future. All bonuses in the GO season of Pokémon GO can be found here in the overview:
- Increased bonus damage in raid battles with friends
- Lure modules last 1 hour
- 1 additional special exchange per day
- 1 additional candy when trading
- Guaranteed XL candy when swapping
- Guaranteed gifts when spinning PokéStops
- Increased damage of own Pokémon in long-distance raid battles
- Increased effect of smoke while walking
Timed Researches: There will also be limited research in Pokémon GO in the Season of GO. In June, July and August you can unlock cosmetic items for your Pokémon GO character here. Nothing is known about the limited research in June. This will probably be announced on June 1st. As soon as there is new information, we will add it here.

Pokémon GO: Season of GO – GO Fest 2022 and what awaits you there
The GO Fest 2022: A highlight comes right at the start of the Season of GO: the GO Fest 2022. It starts worldwide on Saturday, June 4th and runs until Sunday, June 5th – from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets for GO Fest 2022 cost $14.99 and are available from the in-game shop.
With GO Fest 2022, the Gratitude Pokémon Shaymin will be included in Pokémon GO for the first time. At the beginning of July, a second GO Fest 2022 will take place as a live event in the Britzer Garten in Berlin and two other cities. There is also a lot of content waiting for you there. So you can already look forward to a lot of exciting innovations in the Season fo GO. *Any Pokemon marked with a star can also be caught as Shiny.
