Unbeatable: This is the most successful film of 2022!

If you immediately thought of the recently released masterpiece Morbius after reading the title, you will unfortunately be disappointed. While the film spawned some of the best memes of recent memory, the vampire adventure doesn’t quite live up to this year’s other blockbusters. One of them, for example, is the new film about the best detective in the world, Batman. The Batman has now grossed around $370 million in the United States, making it the highest-grossing film in the United States of 2022.

Doctor Strange 2 overtakes The Batman

However, that record total has now been surpassed by another superhero film, and instead of DC, Marvel once again takes the lead. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was released in theaters just this month, and for the past few weeks the film has remained at number one in the box office. Overall, Stephen Strange’s new adventures have now grossed $370 million in the United States, and that number has risen to around $868 million worldwide. This earns the film a spot on the list of the 50 most successful films.

It’s unlikely that the film will ever break the billion mark, but at least $900 million is definitely a realistic goal for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
