The Aldi supplier Medion also has OLED and QLED TVs on offer for the first time. There are six different models to choose from.

For the first time there are OLED and QLED TV models at Medion. OLED is available in sizes of 55 and 65 inches (139 and 164 centimeters diagonal), the QLEDs range from 43 (109 centimeters) to 65 inches (164 centimeters).
At Medion, of course, the attractive price is in the foreground. The OLEDs cost 1000 and 1500 euros. The brightness specification of only 500 nits indicates that the latest panels are not used, but Medion does not provide any information on this. With Dolby Vision and HDR 10, however, important HDR techniques are in use, and HLG should also be there.
In terms of sound, the two UHD TVs X 15564 and X 16523 are compatible with Dolby Atmos. According to the press release, the Smart department is based on Linux, and the app portal offers, among other things, the VoD streaming offers from Amazon, Netflix and the media libraries. A media player is also integrated.
If you connect a Google Assistant or Alexa speaker, co-working and thus partial control is possible. In addition, with a connectable hard disk for recordings and three tuners for all reception paths, important basic data are fulfilled.
The UHD-QLEDs X 1432743, X 15027, X 15522, X 15527 cost between 390 and 480 euros up to 55 inches. The 65 was not available at the time of publication of this report, which is why there was no price information.
The X 15522 uses Linux as a smart operating system and is designed for Dolby Atmos in the department, the other variants are based on Android TV including all the known advantages and are compatible with DTS. In the other disciplines, the equipment of the QLED and OLED models is identical according to the technical information. The data does not show how bright the QLEDs shine.
