Disney+ Day returns this September
The (now arguably) annual celebrations surrounding the Disney+ streaming platform, which first took place last year, will return in 2022. Just like last time, we’ll be seeing some new series and movie premieres from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. The event will take place this year on Thursday, September 8, 2022, acting as a sort of introduction to D23 Expo, the biggest Disney fan event.
Disney+ Day is happening again this year
On the last Disney+ Day, we got a first glimpse of the new Obi Wan Kenobi series, which has now been published, and a few scenes from Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel were also part of the program. So far it’s not clear what new projects could be announced here, but with the sheer flood of news we received last Disney+ Day, there’s bound to be something for every Disney fan.
However, if you don’t feel like watching the event, you can also easily switch to the live action version of Pinocchio, which also to be released on September 8, 2022. You can find out what else will be released for the streaming service in the near future in our article on the Disney + program in June 2022.
In addition to the hopefully exciting news of Disney+ Day and the program for June, we may have already received the release date for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness through a Disney bug, and some new Star Wars have also been released recently series announced for Disney+, including Skeleton Crew with Jude Law.
