Warzone 2: Pocket Leak – Insider speaks of limited inventory

Where did the leak come from? Like many other rumors about Warzone 2, the inventory leak was penned by Tom Henderson. How does the backpack work in Warzone 2? According to Henderson, the inventory in Warzone 2 should be revised. Players are then provided with a backpack that has space for weapons, killstreaks, and gear. Overall, the pocket system in Warzone 2 is reminiscent of Escape from Tarkov. Each item takes up a different amount of space. Dull collecting mania should have an end to it. Henderson cites the sizes of various objects as examples for clarification:

  • Ammo – 1 slot
  • Killstreaks – 4 slots (2×2 slots)
  • Assault Rifle – 6 slots (2×3 slots)
  • Sniper Rifle – 8 slots (2×4 slots)

According to the insider, there should be different backpack levels in Warzone 2. A level 1 bag contains ten slots (2×5 fields), level 2 has 15 slots (3×5 fields) and level 3 has space for 20 slots (4×5 fields). However, he emphasizes that this is not the exact information. According to the leak, the feature for Warzone 2 is still in early development. For example, it is not yet possible to rotate objects.

Warzone 2: Pocket Leak – new gameplay in Battle Royale

How credible is the leak? Tom Henderson has proven multiple times that he has access to reliable sources when it comes to Call of Duty. So it is very likely that his leaks are true. That doesn’t mean that the backpack system will be included in the final game as well. As for that, Henderson also makes it clear that he can’t say anything about it. So enjoy this leak on the inventory in Warzone 2 with caution.

What else do we know about Warzone 2? So far there have only been a number of rumors about Warzone 2. The only really confirmed info is: Warzone 2 is closely linked to Modern Warfare 2 and Infinity Ward oversees the project. But they seem to have something big planned. According to the leak, Warzone 2 has fortresses that you have to conquer to get a loadout. In addition, a number of classic maps from Modern Warfare 2 will probably return to Warzone 2.
