Diablo Immortal: PC release is today – you need to know about problems & bugs

After many were able to start on mobile, the PC release of Diablo Immortal is now pending. Does it run smoothly? Blizzard has already announced that one or the other error is already known.

When will Diablo Immortal launch on PC? The official time for the Diablo Immortal PC release is Thursday, June 02, 2022 at 7:00 p.m.

However, Blizzard emphasizes that today’s PC release of Immortal is still an “open beta” for the client. So expect a game that is still a work in progress and therefore not fully finished.

That’s why Blizzard contacted the players in advance to clarify where problems should be expected.

Basically, Blizzard explains that they want to collect feedback in the post-release phase in order to be able to further improve and change the game. Therefore, the list of errors is not yet final, it could still grow.

Diablo Immortal could have these problems for the PC release

Diablo Immortal: All 6 classes at a glance with gameplay

For the time being, Blizzard expects the following problems with the PC version (via blizzard):

Gameplay: According to Blizzard, there could still be inaccuracies here, for example in movements, skills and interactions. In addition, the “Print” button does not save screenshots correctly in the game directory.

Steering: The ESC key can open the main menu above other menus. In addition, the modifier keys ALT, CTRL and SHIFT are not yet supported in key mapping. If that bothers you, you can alternatively play Immortal with a controller.

UI: You cannot resize the game window when using windowed mode. In addition, some elements are currently missing in the chat, such as slash commands, copy, paste and selecting the entire text.

Accessibility: Text-to-speech transcription may not work for some languages.

Other problems are not yet included in the list. But it is possible that this will increase after the release.

How does Blizzard deal with bugs? According to the statement, the list will be updated, so you obviously want to deal with possible problems transparently. In addition, Blizzard wants to use patches and hotfixes to fix problems – and then record them in the list.

Hotfixes are intended to be used more frequently and not require large downloads, while patches will require data downloads. In this case, the game must then be updated.

So far, no “huge” bugs are known for the PC version. The mobile launch, on the other hand, had some issues with the graphics on different devices.
