The Big Con: Grift of the Year Edition available now

The Big Con is available for the first time on Nintendo Switch. In addition, all owners of The Big Con will receive the update for free.

The Big Con, the critically acclaimed ’90s crime adventure from indie developer Mighty Yell and publisher Skybound Games, arrives today in Grift of the Year Edition for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam.

The Grift of the Year Edition update is free for all The Big Con owners. It includes over two hours of new content, brand new weird characters, a Rad Ghost arcade game and new collectibles. Mighty Yell is also releasing The Big Con for the first time on the Nintendo Switch, directly in the Grift of the Year Edition.

The Big Con is a classic coming-of-age story that borrows 90’s style and humor. Players take on the role of Ali, a teenage girl who embarks on a career as a con artist to save her mother’s video store from ruthless loan sharks. In this new, expanded version of the fun crime adventure, players can expect particularly tricky puzzles, funny dialogues, cool collectibles and crazy missions. How the players get money is up to them. Be it pickpocketing, lock picking, prize stealing, scamming targets or through the brand new Rad Skater arcade game.

The Big Con is recognized by the Tribeca Film Festival as part of the “Official Games Selection”, received an Honorable Mention at the Independent Games Festival 2022 and A.MAZE Festival, and was also a finalist for the TOMMI Children’s Software Award 2022. Starting today, the free update is available to everyone Available to owners of the PC and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One versions as well as the initial release on the Nintendo Switch.
