Pokémon Crimson & Crimson: These are the new next-generation Pokémon

The Pokemon Company has one on Wednesday new trailer and new information regarding their new games Pokémon Crimson & Pokémon Crimson released. Of course, we already have a summary ready for you and explain the differences between the two editions.

In addition to announcing the region’s two new Legendary Pokémon, Koraidon and Miraidonthe game maker also revealed a handful of pocket monsters next generation in the trailer. This includes Pawmi, Lechonk and Smolivwhich are presented in more detail below.

Pawmi, Lechonk, and Smoliv: These are the newcomers to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet

Pawmi

The “Mouse” Pokémon could be called the Pikachu of the new region of Crimson and Crimson. Pawmi is a Pokémon from type electric and its official description is as follows:

In addition to having electric sacs in his cheeks, Pawmi can dissipate electricity with his front paws. It generates electricity by rubbing its cheeks, and then shocks its opponents by touching them with the pads on its front paws.

The fur covering its body provides good insulation against cold and is used to store electricity. When uncomfortable, this wary Pokémon will start rubbing its cheeks in preparation to discharge an electric shock.

Lechonk

Lechonk is a Pokémon from Type Regular and is referred to as the “Pig” Pokémon. In its description it says:

Lechonk uses its sense of smell to find and eat the most fragrant wild grasses and the richest berries. Due to its eating habits, it gives off an aroma reminiscent of herbs that bug-type Pokémon don’t like. When attacked and startled by an opponent, it will dash forward in a panic.

It may appear fat at first, but in reality the Pokémon’s body is mostly muscle, which it has built up from constantly running around in search of food.

Smoliv

Smoliv is a Pokemon from Type Grass/Normal and is referred to as the “Olive Pokémon”:

The oil that oozes from its head has a very strong, bitter taste and is not suitable for consumption. When startled or attacked, Smoliv shoots out this oil, slowing his opponent with it. It then uses this moment to flee.

In the fruit on its head, Smoliv stores oil, derived from the nutrients it obtains through photosynthesis. This allows it to go a week without eating or drinking. It prefers dry and sunny climates and seems to spend its days sunbathing.
