The chat in Diablo Immortal annoys you? This is how you disable the chat box on PC and mobile

Diablo Immortal has launched on iOS, Android and PC. Lots of disgusting people are up to mischief in the chat. MeinMMO shows you how you can easily switch off the chat preview and gamble so much more comfortably.

With Diablo Immortal, Blizzard’s first MMO has started in the world of Sanctuary. But many users get upset about the in-game chat. Because here people curse and racist slogans are thrown around. If that’s really getting on your nerves, you can easily turn off the chat.

At the current time (as of June 3, 2022), the menus still look the same on both mobile phones and PCs.

What do I have to consider? Currently, you must log into each of your characters and follow the steps in the guide. Because there is no overarching system where you can simply turn off the chat for all characters.

Diablo Immortal: Turn off chat – Here’s how it works in a few steps

This is the first step: First you log into your character. Once in game, select the in-game burger menu in the top right. On PC you can just press escape. Here you then select the gear wheel, also at the top right.

This is the second step: In the settings you then select the Chat tab and then all important settings that deal with the chat.

This is the third step: In the “Chat” section you can now turn off the entire chat preview. To do this, you deactivate all checkmarks for the channels. After that, the section at the bottom of the screen has disappeared.

However, the chat is still there, only the preview is switched off. If you tap on the chat window, the entire chat opens with all subgroups. However, the preview at the bottom is now blank. As soon as you log into your character again, the rest of the messages will also have disappeared from the preview.
