After the Obi-Wan series: Darth Vader is set to celebrate another comeback
According to Makingstarwars.com, the team behind the portrayal of Darth Vader will be reunited after Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is not known for which project Darth Vader should appear again. The series seems most likely Star Wars: Ahsoka, which is currently being produced. In October 2021, we reported that Hayden Christensen was set to return as Anakin Skywalker for the Ahsoka series. In any case, James Earl Jones will once again lend his voice to Darth Vader. Apparently, Jason Ward, the editor-in-chief of Makingstarwars, has already confirmed that Jones would voice voice for Darth Vader in another series alongside Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi.
What project could Darth Vader appear in?
Projects other than Star Wars: Ahsoka seem unlikely for a variety of reasons. For example, Ward emphasizes that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will be set after the death of Darth Vader. Accordingly, the character’s appearance here would only be conceivable in the form of flashbacks. Ward never names the Star Wars film for which Taika Waititi should be responsible. Although there is no concrete information about this film, according to statements made recently regarding the future of the Star Wars films, it seems more than unlikely that Darth Vader will also appear in this project.
