Dragon’s Dogma 2: Indications of announcement at Capcom event are condensing

The rumor mill has been buzzing about Dragon’s Dogma 2 for a long time and it could soon be served.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 fans of the first part have been waiting longingly for a long time. The wait could soon be over. Capcom plans to hold a showcase next week and now there are new indications that a sequel to the action role-playing game will be announced. At least the first game’s game director retweeted a tweet saying we should keep an eye on the show. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the title will really be revealed there, but many fans interpret it that way. It would also go well with the previous leaks and rumours.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Is the reveal coming next week?

That’s what it’s about: Capcom is holding its own little game show next week. It could not only do that Resident Evil 4 Remake to be seen, but also Dragon’s Dogma 2. More and more people now believe that because the game director of Dragon’s DogmaPower Stone and Devil May Cry retweeted:

If you are now wondering what Capcom Dev 1 is all about: Capcom roughly divides its own teams into three groups. Team 1 takes care of international, worldwide titles like Resident Evil, Dead Rising or Devil May Cry, while Team 2 takes care of Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom. Team 3 mainly works on games aimed more at a Japanese audience, such as Monster Hunter or Ace Attorney.

The chances are good: Dragon’s Dogma 2 had already come to light as part of the big Nvidia leak, which has already partially come true and whose authenticity has even been confirmed. Also, Capcom recently launched a new Dragon’s Dogma 10th Anniversary website. The sequel also surfaced in a Capcom data leak in 2020.
