Sony wants to further expand its sales of PC games and has recently announced some porting. However, one game that is still rumored to be a remake of The Last of Us. An insider now wants to know that the title should be released for PC and consoles in September.

Rumors of a possible remake of The Last of Us have been around for some time. The game about Joel and Ellie was originally released in 2013 for the then Playstation 3. About a year later, the first title in the series was released again as a remastered version for the Playstation 4. Supposed insiders have been rumored for some time that Naughty Dog and Sony are planning to release the post-apocalyptic adventure as a remake. This time, however, not only for consoles, but also for the PC.

Alleged insider wants to know date

Insider Tom Henderson and journalist Jeff Grubb had already spoken about a remake of The Last of Us this year. According to Henderson, the alleged new edition should appear in the second half of 2022. However, Grubb said they would aim for a holiday release. However, insider The Snitch now wants to know that fans should focus on September.

The Snitch isn’t a name you’ve heard many times. However, this alleged insider has had a remarkable track record over the past few days. The account not only revealed information about the supposed new Kojima project Overdose and the Final Fantasy 16 release window. The Snitch also had the full lineup of Sony’s recently aired State of Play ready ahead of release.

Most recently, The Snitch posted a tweet that simply reads “PART 1 – 09/02/2022”. There are also two emojis with a PC and a controller. Some fans are now assuming the tweet is about The Last of Us as the second part of the series is called The Last of Us Part 2. Others believe the tweet has nothing to do with Naughty Dog and may hint at an episodic release of Hideo Kojima’s latest project.
