Cyberpunk trending: is there a new game coming to Blade Runner?

Cyberpunk as a genre is as popular as ever. Not only did we get the large-scale Cyberpunk 2077, numerous smaller games based around the dystopian vision of the future have also been released recently. These include the fantastic Citizen Sleeper, the shooter Turbo Overkill, the ninja simulator Ghostrunner, and the upcoming cat adventure Stray. As you can see, more and more publishers and developers are exploring the genre, which has been a part of the entertainment industry for several decades. Among other things, the film Blade Runner from 1982 is considered an absolute classic among many fans.

New Blade Runner game reportedly in the works

Now a certain developer has made it his task to develop a new game based around Blade Runner, because 110 Industries recently acquired a license for exactly this. The whole thing was announced in the publisher’s new studio in Switzerland, and a rough release period was also given as 2025.

This information comes from a new Report by the well-known leaker Tom Henderson, which has been known in the past for its accurate Call of Duty leaks. Henderson also states that this is by no means the same project as Westwood Studios’ Blade Runner: Enhanced Edition, a remaster of the original 1997 title, which is due for release soon.
