Tinykin: 3D Platform Adventure launches in August

Tinykin is a new 3D platform adventure starting in August. Take a look at the first game scenes for Tinykin here. A demo will also be available shortly.

Publisher tinyBuild and developer Splashteam set the date for the biggest house party ever. On August 30th, the platform adventure Tinykin will be released for all consoles and PC on Steam, Epic and GOG.

Join galactic explorer Milo on his strangest adventure yet as he stumbles upon mankind’s long-lost home, Earth. It’s weird enough finding a missing planet, but upon beaming down, Milo finds himself in a ’90s-style house populated by sentient insects barely bigger than he is!

Tinykin is a 3D platform adventure inspired by classic Saturday morning cartoons and timeless console hits like Pikmin and Paper Mario.

Players are free to explore the house’s vast miniature environments, with each room populated by its own strange cultures and posing new problems to solve. Bring the music back into the living room, clean up the bathroom and look for pieces of the machine that will solve the puzzle of this bizarre world.

Exploring this foreign land isn’t easy, but Milo has plenty of help! Not only is the native insect population friendly (mostly), but Milo can enlist the help of the Tinykin: mysterious and colorful creatures who seem to live to help adventurers. Build a swarm of these strange new friends and let them move giant objects, build ladders, blast open sealed passages and more for you.

While the Tinykin are always on hand to solve problems, Milo isn’t lacking in navigating these seemingly vast environments either. He runs, jumps and shimmy between obstacles and deploys his upgradeable Bubble Glider to jump larger gaps. Players must also master his soapy surfboard, which he uses to navigate over table edges and over difficult rails, lines and spider webs. If you’re only an inch tall, you need to get creative!

PC gamers can already get a glimpse into the world of Tinykin as the demo is already available on Steam. Console players will soon be able to get a glimpse of the world of Tinykin. The demo for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Switch will be available on June 23rd.
