Wolong – Fallen Dynasty: Ninja Gaiden meets Dynasty Warriors

Team Ninja has a heart for steel: The new action game puts the player in a dark fantasy version of the Han dynasty, in which an unnamed swordsman fights for survival.

Nioh producer Fumihiko Yasuda and Masaaki Yamagiwa, the producer behind Bloodborne, are very familiar with the development of lightning-fast and bloody skirmishes, and of course they want to prove that with their new title Wolong – Fallen Dynasty.

Accurate and deadly

In the guise of a nameless but perfectly trained swordsman, players face countless demons and other threats that ravage Han Dynasty China with terror and violence. The proud warrior can’t let that go and boldly takes up arms. Of course, in the fight against the almost overwhelming opponents, insect-like reflexes in attack and defense are absolutely essential.

The short scenes from the new announcement trailer are immediately reminiscent of games like Sekiro and Onimusha, the commotion in the battle zone could have been straight out of Dynasty Warriors.

Luckily it won’t be long before the demonic rulers can get their hands on it. Wolong – Fallen Dynasty will be available in early 2023 for PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X. Lucky are those who have a game pass, because the seemingly hearty brawl is included there right on the release date.
