Bethesda finally showed off tons of Starfield gameplay. Of course, this is now being analyzed by attentive fans and they have an interesting discovery to report: it looks like we could also visit our solar system aka Sol in the new mammoth RPG. Which in turn would have to mean that we can also land on planet Earth. Also, some gameplay has probably already been shown from Mars, complete with a real rover stranded there.

Starfield is also likely sending us to Earth and Mars

That’s what it’s about: At the Xbox and Bethesda Showcase the day before yesterday, a lot of Starfield gameplay was finally presented. At the same time, the people behind the game gave away tons of information. For example, we know that we should be able to explore over 1,000 planets. Earth might be one of them.

Is that Mars? Apparently we can also visit Mars in Starfield. There we will probably even come across the NASA robots that were sent out hundreds of years ago to explore the red planet. Both were apparently already shown in the gameplay video: The robot, half hidden in the sand, is likely to be the so-called Opportunity Rover (via: Reddit).

Solar System Confirmed: At the same time, of course, it fits very well that our solar system also seems to be involved. At least Sol is clearly visible on the map shown in the gameplay. So it seems that we can also travel to our real solar system.

Then also the earth? If we think this through to the end, it would mean that we can also visit Earth in Starfield. What it will look like in 2330, however, is another matter. Personally, I would bet on a wasteland made uninhabitable by the climate catastrophe – or a world that has become a contaminated desert through the use of nuclear weapons. Anything else would be kind of unrealistic.

More about Starfield:

When is Starfield coming out? Actually, the new big Bethesda RPG was supposed to appear on 11/11/22. But nothing will come of it now and the ambitious open world title has been postponed to 2023. Unfortunately, there is not yet a more precisely defined period, but the end of the year seems most likely.

Are you looking forward to exploring Earth and Mars then? What do you think Earth looks like in Starfield?
