The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: First game scenes of the blood court in Texas

In the video, the developers of Gun show the first game scenes from their film game The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. The stealth adventure should appear for PC and consoles.

In 1974, Tobe Hooper’s legendary horror film The Texas Chain Saw Masscare was released, also known in this country as “Blood Court in Texas”. Developer Gun is now turning this journey of a group of young adults, who actually only wanted to see their grandfather’s bones, into a video game. Already in 2017 they gave the famous slasher a game implementation with Friday 13th: The Game.

The debut trailer a few months ago already showed that the team meticulously adheres to the film template with their game for The Chain Saw Massacre. The colleagues from IGN stopped in this Video Film and game side by side.

Release no longer 2022

The new gameplay trailer now shows the first impressions of what kind of game we can expect with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Like Friday13th, this title will be an asymmetric multiplayer game. The main focus should be on sneaking. Unlike Friday the 13th, three killers are unleashed on the four players this time. You can also catch a glimpse of the star of the 10-part film series, Leatherface, and his favorite tool. After all, the chainsaw is part of the family.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is scheduled for release in 2023 for PC and consoles.
