F1 Manager 2022: Preorder brings five days earlier play, system requirements are fixed

from Andrew Link
Those who pre-order F1 Manager 2022 can save 10% and play 5 days earlier. The system requirements were also mentioned.

The F1 Manager 2022 will start on August 30, 2022 and anyone who pre-orders (currently with a 10% discount) can do their rounds and steer the Formula 1 team on August 25. The developers have now also published system requirements, which we show below:

Minimum requirements for F1 Manager 2022

Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-4590 or AMD FX-8370
Memory: 8 GiB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 or AMD R9 280x (3 GiB VRAM)
Disk space: 30 GB of available disk space

Recommended requirements for F1 Manager 2022

Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-7700 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700
Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Geforce GTX 1080 or Radeon RX 580 (4 GiB VRAM)
Disk space: 30 GB of available disk space

F1 Managers 2022 will try, like the racing games from Codemasters, to remain as beginner-friendly as possible and also to pick up people whose first contact with Formula 1 came about through the Netflix series. It will therefore be exciting to see whether Frontier Development can also inspire enthusiasts for whom the mechanics of Motorsport Manager were a bit too much of a mobile game and who (at the time) will exhume Ascon’s pole position from 1994 as a benchmark.

F1 Manager 2022 Screenshots: This is what the tracks look like

In the preview it is emphasized that the player takes on the daily tasks of a team boss and that in a more classic sense, when team bosses were still deeply involved in many detailed decisions. After all, no team boss decides on driver set-ups these days, but to make management sim interesting you have to turn back the clock a little – even if that means sacrificing realism. In principle, you take on the tasks as you know it from Motorsport Manager – or from pole position if someone played on the PC back in 1994. You invest in the factory, negotiate with staff, determine development and regulate route operations. Thanks to the license, real names from Formula 1 and their feeder series F2 and F3 are also included.

According to Frontier Development, realism should be a top priority in F1 Manager 2022 – at least as long as it doesn’t collide with gameplay and accessibility. Don’t expect Football Manager 2022 quite – hardcore F1 fans will have to make a compromise in order for the game to appeal to a more casual audience. The Codemasters F1 racing games should lead the way. Especially since experienced players also know that Frontier Development has to deliver when it comes to the simulation aspect.
