Genshin Impact: Update 2.7 continues with ninja power and a dirty quest

Part 2 of Update 2.7 in Genshin Impact is here, bringing not only a different banner with a whole new character, but also a new quest line in the Great Rift.

Arataki Itto’s rerun banner has now replaced the archer Yelan’s first appearance: the loud-mouthed Oni with the mighty broadsword is now the current 5-star character in the limited-time character action prayer. At his side in the “Oni Banquet” banner, you can currently also get hold of the ninja woman Kuki Shinobu as a brand new 4-star character.

In addition to the brand new Electro Swordswoman, you can also currently get the dog warrior Gorou and the cryo user Chongyun.

A new quest, Bizarre Tales of the Deep Mud in the Rift, is now available in Genshin Impact

In addition to the new banner, there is also the new Kuki Shinobu Invitation Event and the Bizarre Tales of Deep Mud event quest. In it you go back into the subterranean realms of the great rift and get to the bottom of the eerie, black mud that you may already know from previous storylines.

Once again, you’ll need to use the Lumenstein Catalyst to expel the slime, complete combat challenges, and engage in storytelling with a Sumerian researcher who wants to investigate the situation. As a reward, there are primordial rocks, ascension materials and Mora.

More Genshin Impact news:

The current banner will remain available for 19 days, and there is also a new Weapon Action Prayer “Divine Work” to go with it. This includes, among other things, the Redhorn Stonebreaker as a 5-star weapon, which is well suited for Itto.
