Geforce RTX 3060: Galax releases a strange custom design with a vegetable look

In addition to the graphics card, there are also accessories with matching prints.

Galax has launched a limited and eye-catching version of the Geforce RTX 3060 in China. A mixture of dog and cabbage is shown on the back of the custom model – and the cooler is also painted in a striking way.

In every generation of graphics cards, some board partners from AMD and Nvidia bring specially designed, mostly limited custom models onto the market, with which, for example, company anniversaries or successful games are to be celebrated. As a look at China shows, there are also completely different, even more unusual custom designs.

Green, yellow and with a dog

An example of this is a Geforce RTX 3060 recently presented by Galax, which is delivered in a vegetable look. For the model, Galax teamed up with the companies Dodowo, Bemoe and Bilibili, resulting in a graphics card with a cross between a cabbage and a dog on the back. Otherwise, the graphics card is strikingly painted: the model is mainly in green and yellow, and there are also some red decorations.

In addition to the graphics card, there are also accessories with matching prints.

The trigger for the unusual custom design are apparently cartoon characters, which always appear as a mixture of a vegetable and an animal species. The figures are apparently particularly well known in China, so the custom model is currently only available there. The limited edition of 500 pieces can currently be purchased on site for 3,099 RMB – the equivalent of 440 euros.

The adapted RTX 3060 is not really technically exciting: According to Videocardz, the core is a repainted Galax Geforce RTX 3060 Boomstar, which is delivered with a boost clock of 1,837 MHz. Fans of the dog shown will obviously get their money’s worth, because in addition to the graphics cards, matching printed accessories are also sold. These include a cell phone stand, a mouse pad and a dice.
