A model of the Geforce GTX 1630 from the manufacturer’s Battleax series was leaked by Colorful. Distinctive features are the dual-fan design, a heat sink that extends over the entire card and three display connectors. According to unconfirmed information, the Geforce GTX 1630 will appear tomorrow, June 28th.

Nvidia’s new Turing GPU Geforce GTX 1630 has been haunting the rumor mill for a long time, which was supposed to come onto the market at the end of May and then in mid-June. As is well known, both dates have not come true, but it could be so far tomorrow, as Chinese sources now suspect.

Custom model leaked by Colorful – release on June 28th?

According to the Chinese Board Channels forum, a message from the Colorful factory has leaked, according to which the Geforce GTX 1630 will be released on June 28, tomorrow, although this has not been confirmed. The next day will show whether the date comes true. In addition to the supposed release date, there was another leak of a custom model from Colorful showing the Geforce GTX 1630 in a black and red color scheme.


According to the leak, the Turing card is equipped with two fans, a heat sink that extends over the entire graphics card, as well as a six-pin power connector and three connectors for displays, including HDMI, DisplayPort and even the outdated DVI. It is also assumed that the graphics card is not factory overclocked. The Geforce GTX 1630 should be designed mainly for the OEM and entry-level segment, for which most deliveries are intended. The MSRP will likely be around $150 depending on the region.

Colorful’s Geforce GTX 1630 Battleax is said to have a TU117 GPU with 512 shader units and 4 GiB of GDDR6 memory. In contrast to the GTX 1650, this model has reduced the bus width to 64 bits, which should severely limit its transfer rate and performance at higher resolutions. Other rumored specifications of the Geforce GTX 1630 are a turbo clock of 1,785 MHz, a speed of 12 Gbit/s, a memory transfer rate of 96 GB/s and a TDP of 75 watts.
