Sekiro – Is the game harder than Dark Souls?
From From Software (Elden Ring, Dark Souls), Sekiro, like the studio’s other games, is an action RPG with hard-hitting difficulty. The scenario set in 16th-century Japan, the agility of the protagonist who can jump and reach high points with his grappling hook, and the new stealth mechanics set it apart from the games in the Souls series, among other things. At least standard opponents can usually be eliminated quickly and quietly, but we still have to defeat the bosses in long and demanding battles. Because timing is so important here and there’s no co-op to get help from, Sekiro is actually even harder than Dark Souls.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spin-off of the loot shooter Borderlands 3. We’ll take part in a tabletop role-playing game hosted by Tiny Tina that will transport us to a fantasy world full of crazy ideas that don’t always follow the laws of logic . The gameplay has essentially stayed the same, it is still a first person shooter with a focus on prey hunting. There are adjustments here and there. For example, we can now use spells instead of grenades. Also new is the nicely designed map of the game world, on which we can drag our character from quest to quest and get into random fights.

FIFA 22 – Gameplay trailer explains the new features
At least in the PS5 version of FIFA 22, there are clear advances this year that go beyond graphical improvements. Thanks to machine learning, the AI can now adapt to the way you play, making it more difficult to be successful in the same way over and over again. In addition to detail improvements, the Create-a-Team mode, in which you can create your own club, is the biggest innovation in the PS4 version. Otherwise, as usual, you get a top-class and extensive soccer game that strikes a good balance between simulation and arcade gameplay. However, there are still a lot of microtransactions in Ultimate Team mode.

Far Cry 6 review
Basically, Far Cry 6 has become a typical Far Cry again, i.e. a fun open world shooter with many side activities and a wide selection of weapons and vehicles. The latter ensures that we basically have a lot of freedom to experiment with a wide variety of tactics when completing our missions and capturing enemy bases. Since frontal attacks with the strongest weapon are usually very effective, this is rarely necessary. Incidentally, the setting this time is the fictional island of Yara, which is obviously inspired by Cuba, where we join the resistance against the dictator Antón Castillo, played by Giancarlo Esposito and staged in elaborate cutscenes.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has everything – just no guts
In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla we play a Viking warrior and start in our Norwegian homeland, but soon head to Britain to build a new empire there. In terms of play, the open-world adventure essentially follows the formula of the last two parts of the series, but compared to the very combat-oriented Odyssey, sneaking has become a little more efficient again. There are also a few playful innovations such as robberies, in which we loot resources to expand our villages. In the release version, Valhalla could not convince us due to bugs and weak writing, but some things have been improved in the meantime. In addition, many fans liked the Viking atmosphere.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Solo Campaign and Multiplayer Test Video
Last but not least, the reboot of Modern Warfare scores with its successful solo campaign. The story may not be overly exciting, but this time, alongside the usual Call of Duty bombast, we also get some quiet and depressing moments that offer a pleasant contrast to the usual pathos. In terms of gameplay, however, it is still a straight-forward first-person shooter. Multiplayer is a tad slower compared to its sequels, so tactics can pay off, while Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard are all about reaction speed and accuracy. Whether that’s good or bad is a matter of taste.
